What a way to end the night. I had finished my first DJ gig at Clockwork and stuck around for Esteban’s set when tradgedy struck (cue dramatic music). My good friend Chestnut displayed very poor judgment by tucking her chopsticks into her belt prior to dancing. There are conflicting reports on what exactly happened. Jelly swears I pushed her. Liar!!! I was stooped over tying my shoe when Chestnut blunders into me, honestly!
God it was horrible, blood was everywhere. Poor Myg was in shock. The laughter we shared ealier as we dispatched a griefer was completley forgotten…. (cue the song “Taps”).
OK Ches, you can take the “Collider death” attachment off. Really, jokes over and we had a good laugh. Ches?….Ches??? OMG! They Killed Chestnut!
When I logged in this evening I saw that Razzap had a nice evening of entertainment planned at his Blakslee sim. I arrive a bit early and am surprised to see Crap Mariner docked near the Yaks Club in his big airship. Seeing as how the show was not going to start for another 15 minutes I decided to have a quick ride.
I’ve seen Crap look a lot better. Nearest I can compare her too is the robot from Metropolis.
And Elvis Faust my fellow passenger? Well, um, he still needs pants.

New Skin from NORA
Wow, what can I say but Sezmra Svarog has done it again and created a quality skin. The long delayed Samantha skin has been released and can be found in her store in Sonata. Without further adieu here are the results in my Avi: (sliders at maximum skin darkness)

All in all a very nice skin. I don’t know if this will be full time or not because I’ve got such an extensive collection of Entice skins yet to play with. Anyways this one is defiantely a keeper and well worth the $1000L .

Smoking is bad for your lungs, originally uploaded by GoSpeed_Racer.So I tell my friend Razzap that smoking is bad for his lungs. He then tells me he has no lungs. I then ask him why the smoke is purple. He mentions that martians don’t go potty. I slowly edge away from him.

A Saturday Wanderings
Saturday was a day to explore and hit a big sale or two. Well I finally braved Last Call and made it in and bought 3 outfits. Seems there is a theme to LC outfits, cleavage! Well what better way to show off the assets then:

I then took a little trip over to Topgol to see if there was a party. Seeing none I got a bite to eat:

A Few faces -1
A Few faces -1
The pictures are piling up so I must post. But what I wonder will be my subject? I can’t just do a hodge podge. Ahhhh, faces! I’ve seen quite a few of them this week that were memorable. Somehow on Wednesday I got an invite or LM to come over to Clockwork in Topgol to hear Garret spin some tunes. I hadn’t been there since the blogger party back in August (sheesh, that long ago??). The tunes were great and I finally got to meet the new blogger, Chestnut Rau.
Last night I was with Rav at the Metamorphosis club and my friend Starshine Halasy showed up. I remember meeting her at a concert in Caribbean Breezes and she had that god-awful Linden skin on her. If you think a white noob skin is awful, try it when you slide the shaders to the darker tones! Yikes!!! I had recently upgraded to the Nora skin so I gave her my EnvyYou skin. Not perfect, but better. Later on she bought herself a Nora skin as you see below. She is one of the few black avatars that make the effort to look “African”. Afro, skin, and facial features all combined to make her look like someone from say, Kenya or Tanzania.:

Los Arboles
Los Arboles is a truly colorful, bright and fun sim. It’s been around for about a year and is the home to Banana Stein and Yxes Delacroix, formerly of the Goddess and Banana podcast. The scenery does change from time to time as structures are built and razed as new projects unfold for SL Brand . Here’s a few pictures I snapped the other night:

When Sezmra cames back to SL she did it in a BIG way! TO reward her loyal customers and generate a little publicity for her product line she had a 6 hour sale in her sim. For 6 hours ALL of her skins, male and female were only $1L!!!! In-Freaking-Credible!!!! What’s a female avatar to do? I must have picked up at least 50 skins today. I even got Rav in on the action and he picked up several male skins. The ;ag was terrible as the sim was at capacity and it took a long time to get in, but it was worth it. First lets see how Rav looks in a new and different skin:
All I can say is Barrack Obama eat your heart out! My skin? Oh this is a “Cinnamon - Scarlet” Same makeup as my regular Espresso skin which explains why I look pretty much as I usually do, only lighter. I must say that my Nora skins really define my looks. It’s not the color, but the makeups, shading and the detail that give the Nora skins I wear the character that defines my looks.
